Keep your most important KPIs in sight – with Shopware Analytics

With the latest Shopware version, you can now effortlessly track all the essential metrics for your online store. Here's what you'll get access to:

  • Total sales

  • Orders

  • Average order value

  • Usage of payment methods

  • Amount of customers

  • Number of new customers

Shopware Analytics – essential shop KPIs

These metrics put your most important KPIs right at your fingertips. You can filter them, view specific time frames, and export the data to use in other tools or presentations. This will help you and your team make data-driven decisions, spot trends and anomalies, measure the success of your strategies, and identify new opportunities. Essentially, this feature allows you to monitor and enhance your shop’s overall performance in the intuitive and user-friendly Shopware environment.

To get started, you'll need to install this feature as an extension. It's available in the Shopware store within the administration or via this link. Keep in mind that it's currently a beta feature. If you encounter any issues, we’d love your feedback to improve our product. Here, you'll find the documentation for Shopware Analytics.

We're also planning to expand Shopware Analytics with even more metrics in the future to provide you with deeper insights. By the way, these new metrics will appear directly in the administration – so you won’t need to update to the latest Shopware version first.

New for B2B Components: Use "Shopping Lists" for your business customers

shopping list

The B2B Components are a modular system specifically designed for the B2B sector, available for Shopware Evolve and Beyond. Now, we’re excited to introduce a new feature: Shopping Lists. With this feature, you can empower your business customers to collaboratively create and manage shopping lists. Your customers can set up lists, add products, and save the desired quantities. This is incredibly useful because it streamlines the purchasing process, saves time, and makes planning easier. Teams can work together on a list, ensuring all necessary items are included.

You can activate this feature for each customer in the administration. Once activated, customers can create multiple shopping lists in the storefront and add products with specified quantities. This makes it easy for B2B customers to quickly adjust and repeat recurring orders.

As a B2B retailer, you can also create these lists for your customers, offering them a personalized service with purchase recommendations. You can provide tailored suggestions based on their previous orders or add special promotions and offers directly to their shopping lists.

For those familiar with the Shopware B2B Suite, this feature is known as "Order Lists." Discover more about the differences between the B2B Suite and the B2B Components here.

New Feature for Shopware AI Copilot: "Text to Image"

Shopware AI Copilot already provides a wealth of AI-powered features that bring real benefits to merchants in their everyday operations. Now, we're excited to introduce the twelfth feature: AI Copilot | Text to Image. This tool lets you quickly create premium backgrounds for your products without needing a designer. Effortlessly showcase your products in fresh, new contexts. Unleash your creativity, tap into current trends, set specific moods, or highlight seasonal events. Experiment with various backgrounds to discover what resonates most with your audience and drive up your sales.

To take advantage of this feature, ensure you’re using Shopware 6.6.2 or higher with Shopware Rise, Beyond, or Evolve.

Shopware Community Day: Exciting new features revealed

In May, the 2024 Shopware Community Day took place, unveiling four exciting new features that are either already available or coming soon. One of these features is the previously mentioned AI Copilot | Text to Image. Additionally, the following were highlighted:

  • Scene Editor: Create dynamic, customized scenes to showcase your products in the best light (to be released for Shopware Rise, Evolve, and Beyond).

  • Immersive Elements: This app includes five components for spatial and immersive effects in your online store that will captivate your customers (available for free with Shopware Rise, Evolve, and Beyond, paid for Community Edition users).

  • Sales Agent: Shopware becomes the single point of truth for your B2B sales representatives, offering a comprehensive overview of all activities (to be released for Shopware Evolve and Beyond).
