Step 1: Shopware Analytics needs to be installed as an extension available in the Shopware Store.
Step 2: After installation, a new "Analytics" section will appear in the admin navigation.
Step 3: When you first open Shopware Analytics, you'll be asked for consent to process your data. After giving consent, the Analytics area offers various dashboards for different KPIs, with hover-over details for deeper insights.
Step 4: As Shopware Analytics integrates seamlessly with user role and rights management, you can control who has access to specific dashboards. Update the user rights to best meet your business needs.
Step 5: Please do not hesitate to provide feedback! Shopware will continue adding new dashboards based on customer interviews, feedback, and our research results. We will publish each dashboard straight into Shopware Analytics as soon as it is ready, without waiting for a minor or major release. This allows us to keep enhancing the analytics capabilities dynamically and in direct response to your needs.

Shopware Analytics is easily accessible as an extension from the Shopware Store. Once installed, it appears as a new 'Analytics' section at the top of your admin navigation.
We are actively working on fully integrating Shopware Analytics into the admin interface, eliminating the need for a separate extension in the future.
When you first open Shopware Analytics, you will be prompted to give consent for data processing. Follow the on-screen instructions to provide the necessary consent.
Shopware strictly adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data is secure with us and will never be shared with third parties. We do not capture sensitive information like passwords, nor do we currently collect personal data. If personal data collection becomes beneficial in the future, all such data will be anonymized to protect the privacy of your employees, customers, and yourself. The data in Shopware Analytics is updated in real-time, ensuring you have access to the most current insights and KPIs.
User access can be managed through the roles and permissions section in the admin settings. This allows you to control who has access to specific data and dashboards.
While Shopware Analytics provides robust reporting capabilities, you can also export data as CSV files to integrate with other tools or third-party analytics applications.

Shopware Analytics is available on all Shopware 6 plans starting from the Community Edition. Currently, it is only available for self-hosted versions but we’re already working to include SaaS and PaaS in the future. Analytics requires Shopware version 6.5.7 or higher.
