With the latest Shopware version, you can dive into Insider Previews – a program we created to test and refine innnovative features. Here’s how it works with two types of new features:
Beta features | Blueprint features |
---|---|
Planned features ready for final tweaks before release | Unique, experimental features we’re exploring for future potential |
Will definitely launch once they complete Insider Previews | Could evolve or be phased out based on your feedback and use cases, initially tested with limited functionality |
Help us identify risks early and improve the feature incrementally | Show us how you use and experience these experimental functions |
Active development with smaller adjustments | Dynamic evolution, often staying longer in Insider Previews |

New features for Shopware Analytics
While Shopware Analytics isn’t tied to this specific release (once you install the extension, it updates automatically), we still want to keep you informed about the latest updates in this format.
Here’s what’s new in Shopware Analytics:
Native event tracking for standard storefronts (a prerequisite for the new KPIs below)
New KPI: Unique visitors
New KPI: Page views (visits)
General UI and UX improvements
With this update, we’re introducing new analytics functions for storefronts via event tracking. This enables Shopware Analytics to provide KPIs and reports related to your shop’s customer journey. Event tracking is also essential for future KPIs and reports that are already planned. Currently, event tracking can be activated in standard storefronts, and integration for composable frontends and headless storefronts is also in the works.
For more info: Check out the Shopware Analytics Documentation.

Improved redis configuration
The Redis configuration structure has been enhanced for easier setup and better oversight. There are a few breaking changes, so please refer to the changelog entries for more details.
Optimized indexing of categories and products
The indexing process has been adjusted to prevent message size limits from being exceeded when processing many entities at once by splitting them into smaller chunks.
Migration of admin menu store to Pinia
The adminMenu
store has been migrated from Vuex to Pinia and is now accessible via Shopware.Store.get('adminMenu')
.

Showcase your products in the best light: Introducing the new Scene Editor
Did you know that customers expect around 8 images per product? A study by Salsify shows just how important visuals are for online shopping. But extensive photoshoots can be expensive and time-consuming for retailers. Here’s the good news: with the new Shopware Scene Editor, you can avoid this hassle.
How does it work?
The Scene Editor is an exciting new tool that lets you create dynamic, custom scenes for your products. Save on costly photoshoots and enjoy the flexibility to adjust each detail, from backgrounds to lighting, right in the editor.
One 3D model, endless possibilities
With a single 3D model of your product, you can adjust backgrounds, lighting, colors, and camera angles to create the perfect shot. Experiment until you find the best look for your product, offering customers a variety of images and styles.
This brings some major business benefits:
Faster product launch times
Increased customer confidence by offering a detailed, spatial view of the product
Potentially higher conversion rates and fewer returns
Try it now with Shopware Insider Previews
The Scene Editor is currently available as a Blueprint feature in Insider Previews before its full rollout in Shopware Rise, Evolve, and Beyond. Keep in mind, though, that you'll need at least Shopware Rise to try it out through Insider Previews. Learn how to install Insider Previews here.
Digital Sales Rooms: Offer real-time discounts
Digital Sales Rooms is Shopware's sales platform, where sales representatives can conduct interactive sales conversations with their customers via video call and/or asynchronous consultations. With Digital Sales Rooms, we provide a sales tool that enhances the efficiency of sales teams while elevating the shopping experience for B2C or B2B customers to a new level.
With this release, we’re introducing another helpful feature that makes the work of sales agents even more effective: Sales reps can now offer real-time discounts to customers during digital meetings. Discounts can be applied to selected products or entire shopping carts, allowing you to impress customers and boost your sales!
Please note: Digital Sales Rooms is only available for Shopware Beyond.
