Reflecting the growing popularity of products and brands that are “Made in Germany”, Shopware works with more than 45,000 merchants spanning several industries, including fashion, food and beverage, and interior design. Through Shopware 6 and its state-of-the-art technology, Shopware enables merchants to elevate their online presence and drive conversions while conducting business more efficiently. This is achieved by allowing them to individually customize and scale the product offerings, creating a strong customer experience."
Under the terms of the partnership, Shopware merchants who are building new online stores and evolving their online offer will be able to plug in Alibaba.com to drive international B2B growth opportunities. This will provide German merchants with seamless access to more than 47 million active global business buyers and special events, such as March Expo on Alibaba.com’s platform.
First ‘Marketplace Gold Partner’ In addition, Alibaba.com will become Shopware’s first ‘Marketplace Gold Partner’. Shopware Gold Partners are recognised by the brand as those that offer exceptional solutions for clients and invest time and resources to help Shopware’s merchants achieve their e-commerce goals. As part of its commitment to empower Shopware’s merchants, Alibaba.com will host co-marketed events with Shopware in Germany the coming months, enabling Shopware’s merchants to better understand Alibaba.com’s platform and enhance their digital export strategy.
